The Scorecarding Delivery Method addresses the project's entire lifecycle, from planning the project, to installing software and designing solutions, implementing these solutions, and integrating them within the client's business.

The phases are: Definition, Planning, Design, Building and Deployment.

Definition:

The Define phase is the first phase in the project. It is the initial investigative exercise, which garners enough information to ensure the project commences upon a solid basis.

•  What approach will you be taking for the Scorecarding project?

•  Are you an experienced Scorecarding deployment organization that may only require to apply Quality Assurance to your own development or do you require to take the lead in the Scorecarding Deployment and transfer skills and experience through the process to your organization?

The end of this phase is a project definition document, where the project is defined in terms of the following:

Solution Components

•  Metrics Definition (Metrics, Metric Types, Targets, Tolerances, Benchmarks, Units)
•  Scorecard Design (Indicator Groups, Scorecard Hierarchy, Owners, Impact Structure, Initial View Graphs)
•  Source Data Analysis and Data Feed definition (Data Quality Assessment, Ease of Extraction Rankings, Prioritization)

The Iterative Approach, speed, results save money and reduces risk

Our preferred and proven approach breaks your solution into a number of subject oriented cycles, for example, one for sales, one for finance, one for the supply chain, and so on. Rather than tackling them all at once, we focus on one to start. This approach allows our consultants and your development team to continually capitalize on experience gained throughout the project.

We develop a comprehensive plan for this first cycle. Then your team and ours take on the task at hand. Together we learn. We find out what works and what doesn't. That way, when it comes time to start the next cycle, we know what to expect and how to deal with it.

Armed with insight from the first cycle, we substantially cut the time to complete the second. We finish the third cycle quicker yet and so on, each cycle building on the experience gained from those preceding it.

Founded on knowledge transfer, this iterative approach reduces your project risk and allows your team to play an increasingly independent role in each cycle.

Deployment:

The Deploy phase involves both application and business activities

Key deliverables for the Deploy phase include:

•  Training for system end users
•  Systems and end user documentation
•  The implemented solution
•  Enhancements and future scope
•  Customer sign-off
•  Customer satisfaction survey
